Forest Retreat is up and running!!

Hello everyone, been way too long since my last entery, but I do have a great excuse. I just got email and internet a few days ago in camp and well I'm super busy.

We got into Terrace on the 23rd of May, then moved into camp on the 24th. The move has been going great, and barely any huge problems have come up...nock on wood. I'm now the full time camp manager and first aid dude, and Karen is the Cook and First aid lady of the camp. The weather has been really bad, raining all the time, and the bugs have been the worst ever. But I'm loving it. The fresh clean air, wildlife (no bear encounters yet, but sightings...yes).....helicopters...it's great.

The guys and I have been super busy the last week, setting up the camp, and we are way ahead of schedule. Hopefully in 3 days the camp will be fully up and running.

I do miss Jenni, my friends and family, but this is a great itme to save money, and experience raw nature. Crazy how I get paid to camp in the middle of nowhere.
