August Update

I'll start this off by saying sorry for being late and not for updating my page for so long, but hey I'm working!!! Camp Manager of a Mineral Exploration camp....yeah I'm busy!

Anyways joking aside, things are going good up here. The drill, the camp, the whole program is going very smooth. A few interesting things have happened up here and I wil give you the long story short:

- A guy cut his leg to the bone with a chainsaw. I saved his leg and his life, got him to Terrace and went into surgery. Will make a full recovery!

-We have had a wolverine in camp...really cool but very scary and aggressive.

-Tons of bears, not much for the past week, but on average 1-2 a week. Mostly Grizzlies.

-It has been raining here now for 20 days straight. We had one day last week that we saw the sun for a few hours. And the forecast is for at least 7 more days of solid rain. It is so cold up here, that the snow level has dropped to 1200M-1400M at night, and has snowed on the drill.

I'm sorry I can't post pictures on my flickr site as the bandwidth here is very limited. But I can tell you that I will have many great photos to share when I return!

I did have a break recently, from July 13-25, and spent time in Whistler with Jenni (which was great) and spent time on the island with her famliy and spent time up at my parents trailer and at their home in Langley . The trip was great, nice to see everyone, and especially Jenni, the kids and my parents. Too bad I missed Rob and his family by like 2 days! Oh well, will see them at Christmas or maybe before that, who knows.

Well this is a tad short but I can't really say very much about the program as the company is a publicly traded company and I cannot reveal any info, even if it is trivial.

So on that note, miss Jenni, the boys, Parents, family, friends, see you all in October!! Except for Justin as he is in China. Who knows, I may still see him by the end of this year. If only the airline tickets weren't so bloody expensive.

Cheers!!!
