Ok...4.5 feet of snow in camp...stop!!!!!!

So for the past 3 days, we at this exploration mining camp have endured 72 hours of utter hell. 72 hours of 80-100km/h winds, blowing snow, below freezing temps, no water (it's frozen). We had a complete white out at one point. And after all of that terror, we find almost 5 feet of snow in camp.....lol. So for all of you who know I'm near Terrace and have seen the snow and all the traffic jams in Smithers and such, don't worry, I'm ok. The camp is still up, we have running water again, and the internet is still working....thank God. The camp has expanded to now 12 people, with 5 more to come tomorrow, so I'm a tad busier than last week....AAAHHH!!! At least though I'm out of here on Nov 1, although I will miss the place and the great people I have met here. Don't get me wrong, I love the snow, just working in it sucks @#$.

Brrrrr....got 7 inches of snow last night.....brrrr!

Well here is the kitchen and eating tents of the camp I'm cooking at right now. I just took this photo this morning, when we awoke to 7 inches of snow....hum looks like winter is here to stay? No huge suprise considering the exploration mining camp is 3500ft in elevation and just outside Terrace. Forecast is for more of this all week. I'm out of here on November 1, going back home for a week. Then I'm off to a project in Harrison Hot Springs...busy busy. Cheers!!
